The Project Administrator is responsible for providing general administration services and working with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the employment and internship programmes run effectively and efficiently.

Reporting to the Chief Executive NZ, this position will support daily activities and provide support to other internal and external stakeholders as required.

Please note, applicants must be on an unemployment benefit in New Zealand to be considered for this role.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide the employment and internship programme with day-to-day organisation, coordination and administrative support;
  • Contribute to business activities by producing and formatting documents, reports, proposals, presentations, spreadsheets and other correspondence as required by the employment and internship programmes;
  • Assisting the employment and internship programmes to schedule and run meetings, workshops and events around the country when required; and
  • Develop and maintain effective communication and positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Essential Selection Criteria:

  • Highly developed organisational skills and an ability to multi-task and set priorities;
  • Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service, both internally and externally;
  • Be a confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of humour;
  • High level written, verbal and electronic communication skills, and an ability to successfully manage multiple communication channels;
  • A positive attitude, energy and enthusiasm and ability to work in a self-directed manner with minimal supervision; and
  • Confidence to confidently navigate new computer systems and an intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
